    Turtle Camp Akumal is designed to be fun, educational and is vitally important for our environment. If you are interested in coastal ecology, want to make a difference, and you think you can handle 10 days of adventure in Maya Paradise, then Turtle Camp Akumal, in Mexico is the place for you.
    Turtle Camp 2010 will be hosted at Aquatech Hotel, a Villas DeRosa Resort and is sponsored by SAVE, Society of Akumal´s Vital Ecology, A.C. Turtle Camp Akumal is designed for youth ages 10 - 22, but families are also encouraged to experience the exciting activities at camp.
    Akumal, is located one hour south of the Cancun International Airport on the beautiful Yucatan Peninsula, along the coastline known as the Riviera Maya. This small community composed of white sandy beaches, sun, surf and swaying palm trees is also a haven for turtles. The Society of Akumal's Vital Ecology is a nonprofit organization that is helping to protect the fragile ecosystem of this coastline and their special communities.

    Each of the three sessions will contain age appropriate material and will include segments of each of the following components:

    July 3 – 13 (a 10-day camp), ages 10 – 14 family members welcome
    July 17 – 27 (a 10-day camp), ages15-18 family members welcome
    July 31 –Aug. 14 (15-day camp), College aged students

    Cost?
    $1500.00 for 10-day sessions. $1800 for 15 day sessions, includes lodging, food, and group airport transfers. Family members, see Cenotes.com for condo size and pricing.
